Adriana Qamar

Adriana Qamar is a Senior Consultant at Coopers Executive. In this role, she manages executive search mandates with a high level of structure and care, advising both clients and candidates individually and at eye level.

Adriana brings extensive experience in HR consulting and previously worked for twelve years at an international staffing company, including as Branch Director. Her areas of expertise focus on commercial functions in the fields of services, sales, retail, marketing and events. Adriana completed an apprenticeship in insurance, qualified as a certified tourism specialist HF and holds further training in organizational and economic psychology from the IAP at ZHAW.

As a child, Adriana wanted to be a singer, just like Tina Turner. She shares the same powerhouse drive, but when it comes to voice and knowing the lyrics, things get a little shaky. So a career on stage was not meant to be. Recruiting, however, was. Here Adriana consistently hits the right tone, both with candidates and clients. If she could choose a superpower, it would be teleportation, to travel fast and far, with zero traffic and no waiting around. Her favorite city Paris would probably become a daily destination, for the architecture, the cafés, the language and the lifestyle. Tidy, curious and active, that is how she describes herself, though her cleaning obsession at home is already legendary: she clears everything away while her husband is still cooking and manages to get right in his way. When she treats herself to a meal, it is spaghetti vongole, and her personal life soundtrack features Barcelona by Freddie Mercury and Montserrat Caballé, Simply the Best by Tina Turner and Alpenrosen by Polo Hofer.
